The ability for users to edit their posts is back. I’m not entirely sure why this feature was removed to begin with.

A new “verified” type checkmark has been added to users who have participated in activities that demonstrate they are not spam bots. I’m not sure how I feel about this.. It may be removed.. I don’t think it is needed. Just trying it out.

The site should be getting a new layout soon.. Maybe sometime next month. It will make it easier for mobile users to use the site without requiring some “fancy app”.

Fyi.. I saw Facebook has been trying to get into a type of “Crypto currency” and trying tonget into “Dating”.. This site has had those features for like… what.. almost 2 years now? The “Like” feature has been disabled until an error associated with it can be fixed.

New profile options available when you edit your profile. You can set your account type (humor, community, friends, etc) and your account description (Band name, publication name, etc.). There are also other features that will help you connect with like minded individuals.

User blogs are back. There was a problem with the hyperlinks option before.

Added a “Go to Profile” link on the welcome page. Some people were confused about how to get to their profile after logging in using mobile device. (Click your profile picture after scrolling down)

Videos posted to user activity streams now play and show thumbnails again instead of just text links.

The “Empire” section of Static Colonies allows you to make your own website.

Unfortunately, video links to youtube and dailymotion are not showing previews or playing on the profile activity streams. A recent update make that function stop working and the developer who make that feature doesn’t want to fix it. 🙁
